MEP Engineer مسقطJob Summary: We are seeking a skilled MEP Engineer to oversee and coordinate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for villa and commercial building projects. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in managing MEP design, installation, and commissioning, ensuring compliance with standards, timelines, and budget requirements. Key Responsibilities Plan, design, review, and manage MEP systems for villa and commercial building projects. Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure integrated MEP solutions. Review and approve MEP drawings, material submittals, and shop drawings. Supervise site installation of HVAC, fire-fighting, electrical, ELV, and plumbing systems to ensure quality and adherence to specifications. Manage testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems. Monitor project progress, ensure timely delivery, and report on MEP milestones. Resolve technical issues, design conflicts, and on-site challenges. Ensure compliance with local authority regulations and international codes (e.g., NFPA, ASHRAE, BS, IEC). Conduct site inspections and prepare reports on MEP works. Assist in cost estimation and value engineering for MEP components. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering (or equivalent). 5+ years of MEP engineering experience, with a focus on villa and commercial building projects. Strong knowledge of MEP design, installation, and commissioning. Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and other relevant design tools. Good understanding of local building codes and authority requirements. Excellent project coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred GCC experience (if applicable to your location). Certification in PMP, LEED, or relevant MEP systems.
